REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026/2027 WINTER BASKETBALL SEASON IS OPEN!

BOYS TRAVEL TEAM INFORMATION & TRYOUTS:


The Conestoga Valley Boys Travel Basketball Program has three travel teams (4th, 5th, and 6th grades) that compete against other schools in the Southern Central PA area.

Players are chosen through a tryout process — registration is required to participate. If a player is not selected for the travel team, they will automatically be placed on a team in the CV Recreation Basketball Program.

Travel basketball is a serious commitment. Players are expected to participate in at least three activities per week, which may include practice and/or games.

  • Practices: Weeknights starting week of October 26 (6th M/W/F 8pm to 9:30pm) (5th M 6:30pm to 8pm T/TH 7:30pm to 9pm) (4th W/F 6:30pm to 8pm)
  •  Games: Weeknights or Weekends
  • Season: November through late February
  • Three Tournaments: Tip-Off Tourmament in November, Holiday Tournament during Christmas Break,  & Valentine's Weekend 
  • Possible Playoffs: Last week of February

Initial Registration: $85 (due at sign-up)
Additional Travel Fee (if selected): $90
Total Cost: $175 per player

Join our free Open Gyms to meet the coaches, compete with other players, and get a feel for what will be evaluated during tryouts.

  • Monday, Oct.5 — 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Oct. 14 — 6:00–8:00 PM

6th Grade Open Gyms

  • Tuesday, Oct. 6 — 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Oct. 13 — 6:00–8:00 PM


CV Boys Travel Team Tryouts

4th Grade

  • Mon, Oct. 19 — 6:15–7:00 PM
  • Tues, Oct. 20 — 7:15–8:00 PM
  • Wed, Oct. 21 — 6:00–7:00 PM (if needed)

5th Grade

  • Mon, Oct. 19 — 7:15–8:00 PM
  • Tues, Oct. 20 — 8:15–9:00 PM
  • Wed, Oct. 21 — 7:30–8:30 PM (if needed)

6th Grade

  • Mon, Oct. 19 — 8:15–9:00 PM
  • Tues, Oct. 20 — 6:15–7:00 PM

Players must attend at least one tryout to be considered for placement on a travel team, attending at least two tryouts is strongly recommended for the best evaluation.

For tryouts, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start promptly.

Get ready to dribble, pass, and shoot with CV Youth Basketball! CVYBA has been giving kids in the Conestoga Valley School District a chance to learn the game, build skills, and have a blast on the court for over 20 years. From beginners to future all-stars, everyone is part of the team here. Let’s play hard, cheer loud, and make every basketball season unforgettable!

We have winter basketball programs for boys from 2nd grade through 12th grade.

Our Travel Basketball program consists of 3 teams (4th Grade, 5th Grade and 6th Grade) that compete in the South Centeral Youth Basketball League. 
Travel Basketball Tryouts occur in the beginning of November and the season runs through February.

Our recreation basketball programs consists of 4 leagues (2nd/3rd Grade, 4th/5th/6th Grade League, 7th/8th Grade League and a High School League).
Our winter programs take place from December through February.
